Breathing difficulty walking upstairs is really not good at all n that too just one flight of stairs.
Means u got some problem mostly in heart or less likely in ur lungs
Or may be yr Hb is low.
Need to discuss properly with u as it is not a good sing for such a young person.

Breathing difficulty on exertion is not common.
You will require pulmonary function test and of it is normal will need Echocardiography.
But possibility of everything normal is also there.
