Breathing issues

2025-02-04 05:20:39
While doing the trek of 2 km, I faced a lot of breathing issues. I was not able to breathe properly. I rested for every 3-5 minutes. What would be the reason for the issue? Also, next week I am going to Manali. Should I carry any inhaler or oxygen mask with me for a safer side? Or what are the precautions I can take?

Need to consult. It can be physiological due to no prior treking experience, or walking on daily basis leading to easy fatigability. Or It can be pathological due to any pulmonary disease, cardiac or anaemia. Please consult before your next trek to rule out things.

Please  consult a General Physician or a Cardiologist in your area for a complete Cardiac check up. You should avoid going to Manali instead of carrying an inhaler or Oxygen mask. You will waste 15 days in Manali trying to find out where to get Oxygen. After all an oxygen mask will also need Oxygen to work.
