hello, Breast milk is something that connects to emotions of the mother also. So make sure you are not stressed during feeding. and use the right positin to feed and pat the baby for five mins to avoid vomitting. Use fennel seed water frequently to improve breat milk and take more water or fluids . Avoid spicy, and deep fried food.

Proper nutrition during lactation is very important in order to ensure the health of both mother and the child.  Make sure you are taking enough calcium and protein rich foods.  Some form of protein should be taken with each meal.  Eggs are high quality proteins with 100 percent absorption in the body.  Depending on your body weight you can take 2 to 3 servings of  skim milk or regular milk and milk products like curd lassi for your calcium and protein needs. Plenty of variety vegetables including green leafy vegetables should also be taken with each meal to ensure fiber vitamin mineral intake. Avoid sweetened beverages and soft drinks which are harmful for your body.  Choose unsweetened drinks like thin buttermilk, lassi, tender coconut water, rasam, unsweetened lime juice etc.  Try to stay away from refined sugars and sweets and maida based foods, biscuits and other bakery products.

Hi You need a one-to-one personal consultation as I don't know what are you eating at present,  what is your schedule, always taking  personalized tips is better but I am mentioning few galactogogues foods which may improve quality of your milk and increase the production also. Few galactogogues foods are as follow 1. Whole grains, especially oatmeal. 2. Dark, leafy greens (alfalfa, kale, spinach, broccoli) 3. Fennel. 4. Garlic. 5. Chickpeas. 6. Nuts and seeds, especially almonds. You can avoid these foods during breastfeeding 1. Fish. Fish are a great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids and are okay to eat in moderation during breastfeeding. ... 2. Excess Coffee and Tea.. ... 3. Chocolate. ... 4. “Gassy” Foods. ... 5. Medicines to be Avoided While Breastfeeding. Disclaimer :- Tip may vary if you suffering from any other medical issue. If you want to connect with me for one to one counselling session you can call or WhatsApp at the number mentioned on my Practo profile

Hi, Kindly feed from alternate breast each time ,Do not offer both breast to the child as the foremilk (Front) milk is watery but the hind (2nd half) milk is thick and fills the baby's stomach.Every mother has sufficient milk for the baby unless the baby is not full and cries more often. Reflux is very common in babies so keep them in proped up position for 10 minutes or till the baby gets a burp. Have a well balanced diet with milk, fruits and leafy vegetables. All the best.
