For digital BP take 3 readings at intervals of 3 to 5 mins and get average that's nearly a correct reading, Try such reading at different times of day over 4 to 6 wks if most of readings are above 140/90 treatment is needed

Keep recording BP . With both manual and digital machine on the same arm . Back to back without any interval.
