Hi Everyone, Is 145/90 bp is abnormal for my mother with age 57. She felt dizzy last night. Tested bp this morning.

Her blood pressure reading  is stage 2 hypertension.However you can't determine the hypertension with one reading.Keep monitoring her blood pressure twice daily for a few lifestyle modifications and diet modifications can help her .

BP is high but not too high, can be controlled with monitoring and diets. Also did you take the bp via digital instrument or manual? Is she taking any medication for bp?
