Bilateral biceps pain with normal investigations and only
vitamin D deficiency is most commonly due to muscle overuse, strain, posture-related stress, or myofascial pain, rather than a nerve or joint disease. Persistent pain despite multiple medicines suggests that the problem is not deficiency alone and may be related to repetitive activity, poor ergonomics, sleep posture, or muscle fatigue. Vitamin D correction takes 6â8 weeks to show improvement, so pain may persist initially. Avoid heavy lifting and repetitive arm activity for some time and ensure adequate hydration and rest. If pain continues or is associated with weakness, swelling, or neck pain, a focused clinical examination of the neck and shoulders is recommended to rule out cervical or tendon-related causes.
