BP is usually lower in the morning and tends to raise later.Idealy you should measure your BP twice daily, after resting for atleast 5-10 minutes.Take your BP readings while being seated upright with your back rested ,cuff at the heart level and legs uncrossed.Take 3 readings, consider the average of the last 2 readings.

To obtain accurate blood pressure readings, it is recommended to take measurements twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. Prior to taking the readings, it is essential to rest for a duration of ten minutes and refrain from smoking or consuming caffeinated beverages such as coffee or tea.
