the 1st reading was 130/80 which is borderline because of which you were worried and because of the anxiety the 2nd reading is very high. constantly being under stress and anxiety gives false high readings.
Next Steps
measure bp 4 times a day for a week then comeback with the readings
Health Tips
stop worrying, be calm

Your concern is completely understandable. The sudden rise in BP (170/100) during measurement — especially when you feel anxious, tense, or have a racing heartbeat — is most likely due to white coat hypertension or anxiety-induced elevation. Since your normal BP earlier was 130/80 and you have no symptoms like headache, chest pain, or dizziness, it doesn’t indicate any danger zone or permanent hypertension. However, to be absolutely sure, I recommend you: Check your BP at home or in a relaxed environment, preferably 2–3 times a week. Avoid caffeine, stress, or talking for 5–10 minutes before measuring. If readings stay high consistently, further evaluation (ECG, thyroid profile, etc.) may be needed. If you’d like a personalized plan to monitor and control anxiety-related BP fluctuations, you can reach me directly on WhatsApp at nine three two six zero two zero five nine six for a detailed consultation.

Check BP in the morning once you are calm and after good sleep. If the BP is still high in two occasions, have to start with BP medication for a short term and then we will see. Have to follow lifestyle changes also. Have to check if any other causes of hypertension you have. Do you have any other symptoms. More details needed. Consult for more.
