- Bleeding gums can occur because of several problems like
Gingivitis, Infection in a tooth or the gum or brushing too
hard.
- One should get the teeth cleaning done every 6 months to
maintain good oral hygiene because it not only promotes
healthy gums but moreover it stops gum disease and fights
bad breath.
- After scaling is completed, you may experience slight
discomfort around the teeth for several days and increased
sensitivity to hot and cold (and sometimes sweets) for up to
one-week duration. This is a normal course of healing.
- The sensitivity which occurs after cleaning can be managed
by applying anti-sensitive toothpaste (Vantej or Sensodent
KF) and by warm saline rinses.
