My brother got his Rct done 4 days back. And he is experiencing severe pain in his tooth. His tooth is also bleeding. What could be the reason for this? What should we do now?

Please share your xray... Normally pain occurs for sm days... But it should not be so severe after proper treatment. And reason for bleeding can b diagnosed only after having more details loke xray and clinical photographs

pain should not be there.wait for few days if pain persists then go for xray and diagnosis again , may be re root canal is required becoz previous one was not done properly or missed a canal . bleeding is from gums , there will be severe infection in gums . get scaling and currettage done

Pain after root canal treatment can be due to various factors. If bleeding is there from the associated gums, go for scaling and root planing that will clean the deposits around the tooth. still if pain persists and is severe in nature, get an x-ray done to plan re-rct or extraction.

Hello sir.... your history seems the teeth may have re infection due to improper root canal treatment.... x-ray(IOPA) has to be taken to check for reinfection...if reinfection is ruled out then re root canal treatment has to be done ....

Pain after 4 days means origin is elsewhere most likely.... Get OPG x ray done

Pain and flare up after root canal procedure is caused by several factors. Endodontic flare up does not indicate treatment failure or the need to extract the tooth. Kindly visit your doctor for symptomatic treatment.
