Black stools is usually due to motion mixed with digested blood. So have physical examination at your doctor including digital rectal examination. If it is blood in the motion, the doctor will tell you what you need to do (Bloods tests- CBP, clotting, Liver and kidney function tests; Endoscopy - Gastroscopy ; Scan- Ultrasound abdomen; Treatment - either Ompeorazole or Omeprazole with additional treatments if it is a liver related issue ).
