I m chewing tobacco for 5 years ....2 months before i saw black patches inside my lips where i put tobacco.....so i checked with dentist and she told me that it is reversible if i stop using tobacco....but i didn't.....now they looks more black and also i stop putting tobacco in one side and that side spots are disappeared....is this melonosis? Is this serious issue? Please suggest me.
Yes it can be serious as per your mention it has changed its color & being told earlier to stop your habit you still continued was the sign which you ignored . Pls visit dentist & get its examination done again .
