If the pain is still not better with other remedies , you need an evaluation by a Spine expert ( Physio or an orthopaedic) and rule out shoulder or cervical cause . Any mechanical problem with shoulder/neck can be identified by an Mckenzie Certified physiotherapist. You can search for one online in your area .

Hi.. Back pain is much obvious with continuous sitting in office.. Start with hot n cold thrapy-2mins ice followed by 2mins hot water/hot bag... till swelling subsides.. then continue with hot water formantation.. apply myolaxin ointment.. sleep on your stomach and lift your neck and shoulders-this will give u good stretch on your back.. At office avoid being in one position for long.. take proper pillow from neck to back on your office chair for sitting.. eat lots of fruits-will help u for healing.. Drink 4-5lits of water.. stay hydrated.. that's important. Thank u

As the pain is persistent, that means there must be some underlying pathology that needs to be diagnosed and due to that the swelling has developed. You can have a proper assessment and treatment through an experienced Physiotherapist. Thanks
