My daughter is having back ache since 4 days , it's on left side below shoulder. She did not have any injury. She goes to college, this is persistent pain, no relief ever after rubbing balm, there is no swelling

This may either be due to a musculoskeletal cause which is wrong positioning or lifting heavy onject or it can be due to a nerve related cause. Therefore the pain is persistent. More likely a musculoskeletal cause due to spasm of infraspinatus.
