Ashwagandha and shatavri for weight gain

I read ashwagandha and shatavri together is helpful in gaining weight. Is it true? If yes, how should I take them?

You might be having some problem with your agni (digestive power), that might be too strong (vanishes your diet into nothing) or too weak (not able to digest properly). It would be better if you consult an Ayurveda Doctor & know the cause first that will help you better & faster because that will be oriented treatment. Self medication can cause harm even they are Ayurvedic.
