I'm currently taking Effexor for anxiety symptoms. I have no racing thoughts. I'm comfortable and relaxed but feelings of depersonalizarion caused by my anxiety are not gone yet. Does this mean the medication will work for me? Or if it is responding ?

Even after taking for long time if your symptoms are still causing problem for your day to day life, you might need a augmenting agent. As you have already shown improvement on Effexor this medication is working for you and it should not be stopped.
