Anxiety and overthinking

I am 38 year male. From the last 3 month I feel very much anxiety. Over thinking problem facing by me. Mind not calm any time. Every time I am thinking on various topic particularly on corona issue and future issues. No concentration . Even can't able to watch TV. Met with Dr he prescribed Fludac 20 one in morning and Zapiz 0.5 morning and night . I m taking it from last 10 days.. not much improvement. Kindly suggest whether these medication are right or should I take another medication to calm my mind. I am also taking BP medicine Starpress XL 40 from last one month and now BP is control. Kindly suggest asap

Hi, These are symptoms of unresolved stress. Medication and psychotherapy (counselling, CBT, relaxation therapy, talk therapy etc) will help you better, than only with medications only

Your doctor has prescribed you Fluoxetine which is an antidepressant ( also used in Anxiety disorders). Tab Zapiz is also there to control anxiety. The medicine take about 3 weeks to show the response. Your doctor may adjust the dose of the medicine and it should be done slowly.
