Understanding your scan report Healthy Uterus: Your uterus is a perfectly normal size and your uterine lining the endometrium is also very healthy. The word retroverted simply means your uterus tilts slightly backward which is just a normal natural body shape for many women and absolutely nothing to worry about. The Fibroid: The mass lesion the scan mentions is an intramural fibroid. This is simply a very common non cancerous ball of muscle tissue growing inside the wall of your uterus. The Size: Your fibroid is only about 2 centimeters which is extremely small roughly the size of a peanut or a small grape. Do you need to worry? Absolutely not. Fibroids are incredibly common for women in their forties. At this tiny size they are completely harmless and rarely cause any problems. They also tend to naturally shrink and disappear once you reach menopause. What is the treatment? Since it is so small and your uterus is completely healthy you do not need any surgery or strong medications for this. The standard medical protocol for a fibroid this small is to simply leave it alone and let you live your normal life without interference.

If you don't have symptoms just follow up with scan every 6 months

If you don't have abnormal bleeding then nothing to worry Do yearly ultrasound

If there are no symptoms, no treatment is needed for 2 cm fibroid. Otherwise everything is normal.

Any symptoms? If you are assymptomatic and it's a intramural or subserosal fibroid then no need to worry on that . No treatment needed as well
