In ACL reconstruction, screws and not bolts are used. Latest bioscrews are bioabsorbable. So they do not warrant removal. Return to work is by 4 weeks. Return to spots is by 3-6 months. Walking with walker over operated limb Is by 2-3 days.
Health Tips
Risks are as with all other surgeries i.e. Infection, DVT and Pulmonary embolism etc.
