If isolated acl injury we will wt on day 2... associated meniscal injury or hair line fracture,,,,we delay wt bearing...in your scenario any associated causes... please enquire?.... whatever your doctor do it will have reasons,,,not all fingers are same look alike you know,,,,!

we Usually make the patient bear weight on second day of surgery if an isolated ACL reconstruction is done. in special circumstances of a meniscal repair or multi-ligamentous injury or chondral defects or associated procedure, the weight bearing is usually restricted. Please ask your surgeon regarding the likely cause of delayed weight bearing. Trust your doctor. No one would want heir patient to not get better with their treatment. All the best !
