ACL and PCL SPRAIN

2025-07-23 16:12:44
I was diagnosed with ACL and PCL SPRAIN last week (got an MRI scan done) it's been more than a week now but still I've had more pain in my knee and hamstring (from the last few days) . I started rehab stretches and exercises slowly but still paining, is it because I'm walking and doing my daily activities including visiting the office and all? How much time will it take to heal and be normal? Please let me know how to reduce pain and sleep peacefully

As you have both ACL and PCL injury, recovery will take time - depending on many factors will take nearly 2-3 months to heal with Limitations of movements. Pain can be settled earlier. Please consider physiotherapy for Strengthening of compensatory muscles around knee.
Next Steps
Consult Orthopedic Surgeon for detailed treatment and physiotherapy plan.
Health Tips
Take rest avoid activities that causes pain.
