Abscess under a canine tooth (milk)

2022-08-26 17:06:57
I have 2 canine milk tooth and today I've found a small boil underneath a canine tooth. Is it really an abscess or is it something else which can be treated easily. If it is abscess, then what is the process and the treatment duration.

Looks like Infection only. For milk tooth we avoid any kind of treatment till it troubles. but in your case it looks like both are infected looking at the OPG. unfortunately root canal treatment in milk tooth may not give you a long term solution as eventually milk teeth sooner or later have a tendency to become loose with time. Permanent solution in my opinion would be to get them removed and plan for replacement. Since your permanent canines are too far away from the original position. You can leave them just like that. They should not trouble you as they are deeply embedded and lying horizontally
Next Steps
Visit a surgeon or dentist for removal and Prosthodontist for replacement of teeth
