Choose Durum Wheat Pasta
Instead of regular pasta, choose 100% durum wheat pasta. It contains more protein, more fiber, and has a lower glycemic response than refined pasta, helping you stay fuller for longer.
For a high protein meal, prepare it as a white sauté pasta with paneer. Add plenty of vegetables like broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers, spinach, and garlic for extra fiber and micronutrients.
Soybeans are one of the richest plant protein sources.
• Protein: ~36 g per 100 g (dry soybeans)
• Fiber: ~9 g per 100 g (dry soybeans)
Soybeans provide all nine essential amino acids, making them a complete plant protein. They also supply iron,
calcium, folate, and beneficial isoflavones.
Soy-based foods such as tofu, soy milk, and cooked soybeans can be safely included in the diets of children above 2 years of age as part of a balanced diet, unless they have a soy allergy.
