About cervix length

2022-02-15 16:27:12
During my level 2 scan at 17 weeks , my cervix length came 4.3 cm, however they observed echogenic bowel and sent us for another scan to another lab in the afternoon. This time cervix length came 3.2 cm without echogenic bowel and everything else came normal. Now my questio is that Is it normal to have two different cervix length on two different machines on the same day? Which one should be consider? My age is 29 years without any history of preterm delivery or cervix surgery. This is my first pregnancy

There has to considered the history , clinical examination snd the usg findings together to decide whether we r dealing with a incompetent cervix or not . Just be on rest for few days and then repeat the usg
