Amoxicillin , is it okay for 5 days?
Hi, good day, I wanted to ask about taking Amoxicillin (Himox) 500mg. My dentist adviced me to take it before my dental cleaning, I got a swollen gums and it keeps on hurting every time I drink cold water and the same time I got a cough that’s why she gave me that prescription.Now, I’m on my 5th day taking the Amoxicillin. I’m wondering if it’s okay to stop taking it? My cough are worse than before and I feel like there is no progress taking that . please help me thankyou

Cough is related to a general physician and of course the medications is right but the coughing and other symptoms take a bit more time depending on the pathology and severity. Regarding the stoppage of medications we cannot give any advice as we haven't examined you. It's. better you consult him. If you need a second opinion you may Practo consult with photographs
