Amitriptyline for migraine
I am having migraine problem. Once or twice every week. Can i take amitriptyline 25 on sos basis when i have headache as it will help me fall asleep. As during headache I can't sleep easily. I am already on Veniz xr 75 and 37.5 for depression.

Stop anti depressant if not required Start Tab Migrabeta PLUS at night Tab Naxdom 500mg morning Cap Pantocid DSR two times a day ORS Sachets daily one in 1 lit water All above for strictly 1 month

What are the triggers for your migraine ? Find those out. It is particular food for some , lack of sleep for some, exertion may also cause headache, so first try and avoid your triggers. Secondly we need to examine and see if there is any other cause of headache. Once migraine diagnosis is confirmed, we can start appropriate medication. This can be well managed wit medicines if it is migraine.
