If Amblyopia in right eye returns at the age of 25 years even after a successful Amblyopia surgery in childhood ( 6 years age), then will the vision still deteriorate in that eye? Eyes develop till the age of 8 years so probably visual acuity should remain same irrespective of the time of reoccurrence of Amblyopia. My present acuity with right eye is 6/9. Will it deteriorate further, I.e 6/12 and so on, if I don't go for surgery again. ?? Please help.

1st note there is no surgery for amblyopia. it is for squint and if squint is still persisting you must get it operated otherwise you may again develop amblyopia which in this age is likely to be permanent .
