This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. I would like to suggest you contrast bath method . In that you have to take two buckets , in 1 you have to keep warm water and in other bucket cold water. You have to immerse your legs in warm water for 2mins and then in cold water for 1min. Do always start with warm water. Continue this for about 15-20mins.
Next Steps
You can go for slef stretching of calf muscles. Which you can easily get on youtube. Im sure you will get good results from these methods.
