My wife is 6 weeks pregnant. Her Gynae-Ob had advised TVS USG sometime between 7-8th week of pregnancy. But she is not comfortable with it and has reservations. Is there any alternative to it?

Hi, by transvaginal ultrasound the sac and cardiac activity seen easily. As you r doing in 7th or 8th week you can do transabdominal ultrasound with full bladder. If any difficulty in seeing the fetus by ultrasonologist then she will advice you to do by tvs.
