Alternative of a medicine
My wife had gone a heart valve replacement surgery about 12 years back. Since then she was prescribed to take pentids tablets (800 once  a day or 400mg twice a day). Now since few days back the medicine has been disappeared from the medical stores all over because of unknown reason. It is not available even online. I approached the doctor and he suggested to wait till the availability of it. Is there any alternative to this medicine? Please help.

The best would be to ask for an alternative to Pentids - any form of oral Penicillin which can be used as a substitute.
