Alopecia areata
A had suffered from alopecia areata when i was around 12 years old and the treatment almost helped me grow all the hair back except for some bald patches that remained.some new bald patches have developed recently. I believe that the same disease have resurfaced again. As in my previous question a very helpful doctor replied but the problem is that i stay in pune and looking for the treatment in pune only if possible. Please suggest someone to whom i can go for diagnosis and treatment.

You are having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes​ against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down.
