Allergy to tea
How long does it take to show allergy if u allergic to any food or tea? If u are hving itching  after 8 hrs of eating that product ..then does it mean u hv allergic to that product or u may hv diiferent reasons also to that? I normally have dry skin. I started hv chamomile tea couple of days ago...and i started feeling slightly itching after 8 hrs...not continuously but on and off. After i took bath i was ok. Den again i started itching on my leg. So does ite mean i am allergic to this tea or this is just bcoz of hot weather..or dry skin?

Allergy is a reaction of body to something.it is a protective phenomenon working at very excessive level .It depends on type of reaction by the body;duration of exposure;quantity and concentration of the allergen etc-Some items have more chances for allergy eg—room dust—chances for delayed Allergic reaction to tea after 8 hours is less Any way - you may avoid this tea for few days and check whether the present problems are still there—if so it is due to some thing else
Next Steps
You may apply calamine lotion for few days-if no relief-meet a Dermatologist

Hello, I understand you are trying to figure out whether you are allergic or not to this particular tea. Some allergic reactions occur immediately, but some occur after some period of time. I suggest you stop taking the tea for a few days and check how your feeling. If u still have itching, even when u are not taking tea, then it’s not allergy.
