You are telling she is allergic to chocolates and dust. did you completely made your house free off these things??that you should do first. If it still persist then and you may consult paediatric pulmonologist. you didn't write whether she was having wheezing or not and whether associated symptoms like sneezing nasal discharge are present or not. you should keep your house very clean and tidy . you must clean your blankets rugs carpets etc very often and also make your house pet free . you should live in an environment without insects without dust without pollen and ofcourse chocolates. These things are most important than the medication in treating your child.  good luck.

I sympathise with you. Managing an allergic / asthmatic at home or otherwise is a long drawn process.. but the good thing is that if you are under good and regular allopathic management and medication, you should be fine. Switching medicines is not the solution.. please get your child managed by a Paediatric pulmonologist so that she gets relief.. then take measures to prevent its recurrence . There is no permanent cure here.. though a significant percentage of cases tend to improve with age . You are welcome to try alternative medicine also.. it is entirely your call
Next Steps
Consult a Pediatric pulmonologist with all the treatment details.
