Alcohol consumption with medicenes
I have been going through major depression and have been prescribed with nexito 10 to be taken every night. Been taking lonazep for the past month which is now almost over. Can I consume alcohol once lonazep is over? Is it safe to drink while on nexito 10. How long should I wait before I drink occasionally after lonazep is over? Thanks in advance :)

Hi... Need further history regarding the duration of depression, associated symptoms, any medical comorbidities etc. Even if you are taking medications they need to be taken for adequate duration to treat the depression. Lonazep is a benzodiazepine and it can depress the brain hust like alcohol. It's not advisable to take both of them simultaneously. I advise you to consult With your treating psychiatrist to discuss regarding the same.

You may take alcohol ..only issues is there suppose u r taking both together you will feel more drowsy
