Trace albumin in urine routine can be significant if you have diabetes or similar other risk factor for kidney disease. Getting urine ACR helps which can quantifies even small amount of albumin in urine. It is significant for kidney disease only if it is present for atleast 3 to 6 months to ensure that it is not transient phenomenon
