Air entering eye after Fess surgery
My mother undergone fess surgery for mucormycosis. right after surgery my mother is on mechanical ventilation due to lung issue. soon after my mother started to breathe through her nose there is some noticable swelling above and below the eye. swelling occurred when she started breathing on her own through her nose. its been a month and still there is some swelling above and below eye with no pain, good vision, good movements. is it orbital emphysema ? or is it orbital fracture ? do we require emergency treatment or can we leave it like this ? • my mother slept in AC and in the morning there is more swelling above eye and later during afternoon swelling reduced.
