Hello, My grandfather is 81 years old. From yesterday onwards he is not eating food properly.He got a vomit sensation if he see the food. He feels so tried. But not having fever, cold, cough and all. We can't carry him to the hospital in this pandemic situation. Don't know what to do. Kindly help me.

Hello, If he is refusing solid food, try giving him in liquid form. Encourage him patiently to eat his meals.
Next Steps
Try to give TAB. ONDEM 4mg half an hr before meals to avoid nausea. Can use this up to three days.

It may be due gastritis, give him tab emset 4 mg twice daily before meals and also tab neksium d 40 mg twice daily before meals for three days, give him soft diet, like daal khichri and ors to drink

Please monitor his vitals ( Respiratory Rate , Heart Rate , SpO2 ) and keep a check if there is a fall please do take him to the hospital as he is elderly and more history and evaluation would be needed to give any further advice
