Age related Macular degenaration
My 79 years old father has age related macular degeneration dry for last one year. Dr suggested him to take new I-site capsules which he was already taking. Some one suggested that he should take Gloeye in addition to new I Site capsules. ie he should take gloeye and isite both. Also it is suggested that he should take omega 3 supplement too. I am a bit confused. Isite capsules are sufficient or he should add gloeye??? Also whether he should start taking omega 3 supplement too. If yes how much?

Age related macular degeneration (ARMD) as name indicate is related with longevity of life, in USA incidence of ARMD is more common because longevity is much more than Indian. There  is no direct medicine to check the progress of ARMD but many research papers say that with help of antioxidant  speed of its progress can be delayed .In ARMD one is not able to read fine letters but Vision for day to day work remains throughout life .You should not spend unnecessary on Medicine, cap i- site is sufficient along with balanced diet, with regards

Hello For dry ARMD....only omega 3 fatty acids are not sufficient. He must take a combination of zinc, salenium, vitamin C,vitamin E combination in concentration as specified by AREADS trial.... You can take only one supplement...no need to waste money on two supplements. Can you send me composition of gloeye and I site capsules so that I may guide you the better option. Regarding omega 3 fatty acid...my suggestion is to avoid wasting money on capsules but you can buy WALNUT... walnut is a good source omega fatty acids Regards
