After how many days suger level check?
Random suger level test has been done on 20th dec .It was 82 . Catract operation date is on 7 January. Do suger level needs to check before that? After how many days interval Suger level can be checked ? Which type test is best (FBS/PPbs/Or random to determine the Suger? Please advise.

If non diabetic this report ok...if diabetic fasting postmeal and hba1c important.

If you are not diabetic, this should work. Preferably never do a random check. Fasting and PP are more conclusive. For diabetic 82 is too low. Sugar levels can be checked daily or as and when required. Your operating surgeon will let you know if a more recent investigation is required.

It is better to do Fbs,ppbs, hba1c. If the blood sugar levels are below,180,you can go for cataract surgery. Pl consult ophthalmologist and endocrinologist for further evaluation and treatment.
