Advice on reduction of thyronorm dosage
My tsh level has reduced in 2 months from 15 to 4.. And my weight has reduced almost 6 kgs in 2 months Can I reduce the dose from 62.5 mg to 50 mg and see?.. Plz suggest

Reducing Thyronorm dosage should strictly be dependent on your TSH. Regular 6 weekly TSH should be done to monitor levels and adjust dosage accordingly. As you are 30 years old and in reproductive age, you might need to monitor more frequently - as and when you get pregnant your TSH will have to be below 2 for safe viability of pregnancy. It’s good to hear that about reduction of weight and TSH. Your current dosage is sufficient and use it same . I suggest to repeat thyroid profile in next 3months
