ADVICE ON ACNE AND LARGE PORES
Hello Doctor, I have been consulting a dermatologist since 2 years for acne. The pimples and scars have been cured but there are large pores that are still visible. The dermatologist suggested me to undergo laser treatment for the same but I am not comfortable with it and the consequences that follow. So kindly suggest me if there are any alternatives (Tablets, creams, etc) that can help in removing the pores on my face. Waiting for your positive response. Thank you!

Hello mam. The scars and the pigmentation on the face are treatable. It's better to get it examined first so that we can identify the type of skin, scars and if they are hyper pigmented, atrophic or ice pick scars. The treatment are of various kind like ranging from simple scrubs and mild peels for the face to the major interventions such as laser therapy, dermaroller, subcision or peeling.
