The tiny black spots on the nail can be sometimes seen in a serious condition known as melanoma or it can also be seen sometimes in fungal inspection of the nail. Without proper examination is difficult to comment on the cause. Please get it properly assessed by dermatologist or can get an online consultation for the same. Hope this is helpful
