ADULT SQUINT VISION
My exotropia recurred 3 years ago which was treated at the age of 6 by surgery. Why it has occurred again ? I am seeing 6/9 with the affected eye and 6/6 with the other eye. Is there any chance that the vision will still deteriorate at this age? Or will this exotropia only affect my cosmetic appearance, and not vision. LASIK had been performed on both of my eyes a week ago. After how much time I should have a exotropia correction surgery P.S. : On Squint evaluation doctor said it was intermittent exotropia having 15° angle. AGE 25 MALE

Donot rush for surgery
Next Steps
You should wait for improvement in squint as LASIK should also improve your squint. You can start doing 'pencil push-ups'. Google search will tell you what are these.
