For intially few days like 1-2 day pain is dere
After dat it will be normal
After surgery ..when u wer allowed for fluids ..give properly every 2 hrly

Adenotonsillectomy is done in a lot of children around that age group
There will be pain while swallowing and painkillers will be given post surgery
As far as i have seen, children recover faster than adults so better not to delay.
