I want to gain weight for that I have joined the gym recently and workout 6 days a week in the evening. I don't know how to swim and want to learn . So it will require going to the pool atleast 4 days a week in the morning.
I want know if adding it to my routine will be beneficial ir strenuous for my body ?
Or what is the alternative?

first, as per your age and height, your weight is perfectly fine. But if you still want to gain weight muscle strengthening is important and weight lifting. if you will join swimming too your body will demand more and if you do not stay on it it will further lead to decrease your weight. do things gradually, you just joined the gym first let your body get used to it then add other routines. Along with exercise diet is highly recommended.
