first, as per your age and height, your weight is perfectly fine. But if you still want to gain weight muscle strengthening is important and weight lifting. if you will join swimming too your body will demand more and if you do not stay on it it will further lead to decrease your weight. do things gradually, you just joined the gym first let your body get used to it then add other routines. Along with exercise diet is highly recommended.
Next Steps
Continue with your training programme, gaining and losing weight is slow and steady process. Patience is the key
Health Tips
Dry fruits will help.

Swimming is a good activity and is usually safe but initial challenges may be there. If you are not able to continue swimming, any outdoor activity like running or cycling is beneficial too. Keep a primary target of being healthy and staying healthy, weight gain or loss can be a secondary result of your exercise plan. All exercise techniques need some adaptation time so take your time and avoid injuries.
