Acute otitis
I have been diagnosed with acute otitis media in my right ear, due to cold cough i had. My doctor has given be nasal drop and spray anf tablet. There seems to be some improvement though with cough and cold coming out slowly. I still have some hearing loss with my right ear. What precautions should be taken for ear to be safe from further infection?

You might be suffering from acute viral upper respiratory tract infection with acute otitis media. Usually symptomatic treatment is required which is rightly given by your doctor. Hearing loss for few weeks after this type of infection is normal and usually will become normal without any treatment
