Pain in lower right abdomen got ultrasound of full abdomen showing inflammation of the appendix, prescribed ofloxocin ornidazole along with cefixime and drotin Ds tab twice daily for five days what next
Any suggestions on diet and further course of treatment

Consult general surgeon..its better you get operated. Even if we subside present event with medicines,you will get reattack someday and you dont know when and where you will get it...its risky to avoid.

Hello. Appendix is an useless organ of our body, which should be removed when its inflamed. Otherwise it will go on repeating the same problem if appendicitis. Contact a surgeon. You should undergo operation for removal of your appendix. You can undergo laparoscopic appendectomy, which is near painless & scarless. Hope this helps.

Appendix is a organ which is not of any use to our body.
It wont cause anything even if removed. In cases of appendixitis, a surgery can be performed to remove the appendix but if its a stage of appendicular mass, immediate surgery is not possible.
Kindly take medicines as suggested and consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.
