Acne very stubborn

I have a single acne on nose for over 2 months now.Dr has prescribed benzac ac 2.5 .have been applying every night for 1 week..but very little improvement is seen.. is the treatment working or shud I change.. picture of acne is attached..pls advise shud I change treatment?
