How do I deal with acne and acne scars? I have irregular periods sometimes. I used tretinoin but it worsened my face.

Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Hello dear. Please don't self treat with tretinoin. Acne and irregular periods point towards PCOS. We need to do some tests to be sure. Please visit my clinic in Delhi or schedule an online consultation for accurate diagnosis and treatment

Acne treatment depends on the stage of ur acne. If u get scars that means you get nodular acne. It needs oral medicines and creams. Also a few procedures like chemical peels and dermaroller etc may be needed. Acne takes atleast 6 to 8 weeks to come under control and get a bit better. Kindly consult online for a detailed approach and treatment.
