Acl tear left knee
I had a acl tear in my left knee 7 years ago. This happened during a game of hockey. After which an orthopedist suggested plaster for my left knee. And after a month the doctor said everything is good. I got pain again in the same knee a month back. Went for an MRI and doc suggested surgery. Is surgery the only option?

ACL tear with meniscus injury MAY cause early arthritis if treatment is delayed or not taken. Your knee has to physically examined and treatment decided accordingly. ACL tears usually will require ACL reconstruction.
